Nepal Thread Co. was founded on a simple belief: that the finest pashmina in the world deserves to be shared honestly, with the people who make it placed at the centre of the story.
We began by visiting artisan workshops across the Kathmandu Valley, meeting weavers whose families have practised this craft for generations. What struck us most was not just the quality of the work, but the care — every shawl is touched by dozens of hands before it ever reaches a customer.
Today, we partner directly with these artisan communities, cutting out the layers of middlemen that often leave weavers underpaid for their skill. Every purchase supports fair wages and helps sustain a tradition that deserves to thrive, not fade.
